Always Looking Down Upon Me

I woke up crying this morning from the dream I had last night. I have had a similar incident like this a few years ago, and I love having them. Last night I dreamed that my mother was here.

It was a pretty large house that we were in. I don't really remember the beginning of the dream I guess because that wasn't the important part. I remember running downstairs because it was time for my wedding ceremony to start. On the way downstairs I passed my mother and grandmother on the steps. When I say mother I am referring to the mother that passed when I was four years old. My only mother, I only clarified that for anyone reading (which I just recently angered the only person that reads these, so I doubt anyone else is) so that they aren't confused with my biological mother. My mother was very ill and grandma was carrying her up the stairs. I asked her to please stop climbing the stairs and to see me in my dress. That's every little girls dream is for her mother to see her. I quickly got dressed and showed her. Soon after that she passed away, and I woke up.

When I said that I have had an incident like this before, I once thought that I heard my mother tell me to get up for school. My dad usually turns the light on and tells me to get up. One morning I woke up to what sounded like my mother’s voice telling me to get out of bed I was about to miss the bus. The light was also turned on. But when I finally opened my eyes, the light was off, and no one in the house was awake. I was in fact about to miss the bus. I think she was really there. And I also think that my dream last night was her telling me that she will be there for me on my wedding day. Her dying in the dream was her way of telling me that she will be watching over from heaven.

I love these dreams. Though they sometimes hurt, it’s an amazing feeling to see her face, and to know that she is there and will always be.

Wedding Day!

As the title says this past dream was about my wedding day. I assume that since it's getting closer to date that I am having fears about the actual day. I have not met stressed yet, but I know that that brat is right around the corner!

I was getting ready for the ceremony. I was putting on my makeup, my shoes, dress, and of course in a rush to do all of that. It was time to walk down the aisle. The music began playing and I grabbed my dad's arm. Dun, Dun, DUN, Dun...."OMG where is my veil?" I started freaking out. How could I forget my veil? In the meantime of my panic the guests had started standing. But how in the world could I walk down the aisle without my veil?

I ran to the store and bought my veil.

IN THE MIDDLE OF MY WEDDING! lol

The guests were very impatient when I got back. My dad dragged me down the aisle while I was shouting, "Dad I am going to trip!" Finally the ceremony had started. I took a look around and the guests were fanning themselves impatiently. The minister just says, "Do you do?" We both say yes, and then that's it! I turn to the right and receive a drink from the caterer, the guests stood up and ran to the reception room, and we signed the papers. What a wedding I thought! I was so sad standing there at the altar.

I KNOW that there are more dreams like this to come-and I dread them. It's tough enough planning, let alone having nightmares about the big day.
