Always Looking Down Upon Me

I woke up crying this morning from the dream I had last night. I have had a similar incident like this a few years ago, and I love having them. Last night I dreamed that my mother was here.

It was a pretty large house that we were in. I don't really remember the beginning of the dream I guess because that wasn't the important part. I remember running downstairs because it was time for my wedding ceremony to start. On the way downstairs I passed my mother and grandmother on the steps. When I say mother I am referring to the mother that passed when I was four years old. My only mother, I only clarified that for anyone reading (which I just recently angered the only person that reads these, so I doubt anyone else is) so that they aren't confused with my biological mother. My mother was very ill and grandma was carrying her up the stairs. I asked her to please stop climbing the stairs and to see me in my dress. That's every little girls dream is for her mother to see her. I quickly got dressed and showed her. Soon after that she passed away, and I woke up.

When I said that I have had an incident like this before, I once thought that I heard my mother tell me to get up for school. My dad usually turns the light on and tells me to get up. One morning I woke up to what sounded like my mother’s voice telling me to get out of bed I was about to miss the bus. The light was also turned on. But when I finally opened my eyes, the light was off, and no one in the house was awake. I was in fact about to miss the bus. I think she was really there. And I also think that my dream last night was her telling me that she will be there for me on my wedding day. Her dying in the dream was her way of telling me that she will be watching over from heaven.

I love these dreams. Though they sometimes hurt, it’s an amazing feeling to see her face, and to know that she is there and will always be.

Wedding Day!

As the title says this past dream was about my wedding day. I assume that since it's getting closer to date that I am having fears about the actual day. I have not met stressed yet, but I know that that brat is right around the corner!

I was getting ready for the ceremony. I was putting on my makeup, my shoes, dress, and of course in a rush to do all of that. It was time to walk down the aisle. The music began playing and I grabbed my dad's arm. Dun, Dun, DUN, Dun...."OMG where is my veil?" I started freaking out. How could I forget my veil? In the meantime of my panic the guests had started standing. But how in the world could I walk down the aisle without my veil?

I ran to the store and bought my veil.

IN THE MIDDLE OF MY WEDDING! lol

The guests were very impatient when I got back. My dad dragged me down the aisle while I was shouting, "Dad I am going to trip!" Finally the ceremony had started. I took a look around and the guests were fanning themselves impatiently. The minister just says, "Do you do?" We both say yes, and then that's it! I turn to the right and receive a drink from the caterer, the guests stood up and ran to the reception room, and we signed the papers. What a wedding I thought! I was so sad standing there at the altar.

I KNOW that there are more dreams like this to come-and I dread them. It's tough enough planning, let alone having nightmares about the big day.

A Maze of Nancy

Last night’s dream has a meaning behind it. So before I start with the dream I need to give you the background.

My sister became a foster parent and adopted my childhood friend when I was in sixth grade. We used to play together, laugh together, and even make each other cry. But I mean that's what friends do! I have so many good memories of us as children. I most certainly remember her popping my red balloon. I only remember this because she used to rub it in my face about how I cried like a baby over a balloon. My most vivid memory of the two of us would be when we first met. My grandmother invited her over to play one late afternoon. I remember she came through the back fence and plopped right on the couch beside me. She must have been more anxious than me, because I just sat there. I guess you could say I was shy. Who am I kidding-that was an understatement.

Nancy and I grew up together as our lives changed. The one thing that didn't change was that I could always count on her. She was considered my niece after the adoption, but who really wanted to explain that to someone? So we called each other sisters.

I was always jealous of Nancy growing up. It seemed as though she always did the right thing. I was the black sheep of the family. The one always getting caught, always grounded, always bringing home c's on the report card, and the one who never did anything right (that’s how it seemed at least). Nancy was a bright student, always did her chores, and seemed to always do the right things, but that all changed this past year.

It was ten thirty at night when I got a call from my dad. I was kind of worried because my dad never calls me that late. I pick up the phone and my dad is at the other end. He says in a mocking way, “Guess who got married?” I guessed so many names but Nancy was never one of them. After all Nancy had only been with her boyfriend for 4 months.

But I was completely of chart. Nancy had run off and got married 2 months after knowing this guy. She hid the fact for 2 complete months. Her own parents weren’t aware. We don’t know this guy and will never have the chance because she moved to Alaska. Yes! That’s right-Alaska!

This whole process has been horrible for our family. We feel as though Nancy has betrayed us. She didn’t tell us about getting married, she has lied to us over and over, and she has given up on who she is for this boy. (I say boy because he is only 18) We have heard a lot of negative things about this boy. We have heard that he is mean to her, that he wants to get her pregnant for the money, that they only got married for the money, etc. He seems like the type to beat her, and we tried to explain to Nancy that she doesn’t know him. We tried to explain that he could move her up there and abuse her. But she didn’t listen. She cut us off from her life and ran. I haven’t heard from Nancy since.

So! Here was the dream.

My sister and I get notification from someone that Nancy is in town. We heard that she ran back home but didn’t want to tell anyone. Apparently she was hiding out at the mall. So off we go!
We get to the mall and get handed these wrist bracelets. The guard says that they are used to track Nancy.
We rush up the stairs. The mall becomes a maze in my dream. I am running up and down stairs, into hallways, and through the many doors. In one door I see my cousin asking how to dance. So I show her how to booty dance. On the screen is a copy of the maze/mall. I see the dot that is supposed to be Nancy. She is right next door. Then I run into the other room.

There is Nancy in the corner crying. She is wearing a wedding veil. I am assuming it was in my dream to show that Nancy was married?! I run to her and ask her what is wrong. She tells me how Kyle beat her in Indiana. I asked her why she didn’t call home and she says she didn’t want to make my sister happy that she was right. I told her that we only want the best for her and we love her. She runs off. I tried to catch her, but she was gone. So I continue running through the maze to find her. I run upstairs and some creepy killer man comes running after me. So I tell myself, “Don’t go up those stairs again.” Of course I do by accident because it’s a maze.
After the man runs after me again, I wake up!

This was a scary dream because I hope that it never comes true. Even though Nancy has upset me, and has really hurt my family, we will always be there for her. No matter what we say!

horoscope

This was my horoscope for today. STRANGE!

Your Daily Horoscope

You might not have heard from a close friend in a long time and worry a little, Capricorn. Perhaps this person wasn't well the last time you talked. If you can, it might be a good idea to call. Strange and unsettling dreams could plague your sleep tonight, but don't get too agitated. They aren't prophetic in any way. The symbols probably represent nothing more than psychic detritus released through sleep.

Awe

I had another dream of the same "Jacob" I have dreamed of before. I am NOT in the writing mood so here is the story.

We were at school, and were going on a field trip. I was engaged at the time-yes, to JJ. I got on the bus, and there was Jacob. He was gorge (in the dream). He knew how to make me smile, he knew how to hold me, he told me things that made me feel warm inside. He was Jacob. And I had a crush on him. We chatted the whole time on the bus. When we got to where ever we were going, we sat on the steps. We spoke of what we wanted in the future, his ex girlfriend (who I believe his still his girlfriend), and we spoke about JJ. It was something like this, "O yeah, I am engaged!" About that time JJ came down the steps. Gosh he was so beautiful. He was wearing a red shirt, a chain, his face was so presh, so clean, and his smile was amazing. He looked like MY JJ. And he was. As soon as he appeared in my view, I fell in love again. I left Jacob sitting on the stairs as JJ took me in his arms. He was MY fiancĂ©, and he did all of the things Jacob did but more. I was in awe of him.

I am in awe of him every day. He amazes me in every way! I love him.
The End.

911

Earlier I mentioned that when I dream about my ex’s they tend to walk into my life somehow. I guess this is true for people in general. This is an older dream I had, but I thought I should share this with you.

I have a neighbor across the hall who I met on bad terms. A few nights after she moved in we had someone knocking on our door around 12:30 at night. JJ and I were cuddled up in bed, while my niece slept in her crib. I thought I heard someone at the door, but didn’t realize believe anyone we knew would be dumb enough to do so, so I ignored the first few knocks. The person however didn’t stop. The knocking continued on and on for ten more minutes. So scardy cat me woke JJ up to see who was at the door. He took his sword (the only hurtful object we have in the house) and went to the door. In the meantime I am on the phone with 911 just in case. JJ looked out the peep-hole of the door, but saw nothing. He even asked who it was, but no one responded. Finally the cops arrive and they pull a note off my door. The note says that my car lights are on and if needed to ask my new neighbor Whitney for jumper cables in the morning. I apologized to the cops for having them come out, but they said I did the right thing. (Btw a few weeks later someone down the street opened their door and someone stabbed him-which is what I was worried about) As we are speaking with the cops Whitney walks up. She immediately begins crying and screaming thinking the police is here to tell her bad news about her army husband. At this point I felt terrible. I would never want anyone to think their husband had been killed. I couldn’t imagine how she felt. The police tried talking to her to calm her down. Whitney had seriously been drinking. In fact, she was walking home from the store with a new six pack of beer. The cops immediately smell the aroma of beer on her and question her activities that afternoon. The drunken neighbor smarts off to the police as they tried to explain to her that constant banging on my door can be harassment if you knock for more than a few minutes. The night however ended on an okay note. At least she didn’t go to jail for public intoxication.

Great first impression we made huh?

Now that you know how we met our neighbor here is the dream.

JJ and I had been fighting and he told me that he had met someone else. I was really upset and hurt, but I went into my room to pack my things. Assuming you have watched the Saw movies you should know how the clown slowly rides his bike. A better way to describe it would be to imagine someone walking towards while a strobe light is on. Now that you have that image in your mind, picture my neighbor lunging at me from the side of my bed with a knife. She jumps up in the air about to stab me when her face looks like she’s in pain. As soon as she falls I realize that JJ saved my life. He stabbed her right in time. At that point all of our troubles were at ease and we were happily in love again. We stood their embracing each other when I awoke.

Crazy dream right? Imagine seeing this neighbor every day after that!

Here is the crazy part.

A few nights had passed. JJ took Ella Bella out for her night routine, while I got ready for bed. He walked into the bedroom with a note in hand. As you guessed the note was from Whitney. She was asking me to drive her to pick up her other vehicle. Thinking about my dream I questioned doing it. How was I supposed to know she wasn’t planning on murdering me? So, being the nice person I try to be, I gave a stranger a ride (don’t tell my parents!). On the way to pick up her truck I thought it was necessary to tell her about my dream. Her response: Well that’s just silly. If anything ever happened to you and JJ, I would kill JJ for hurting you. You’re my friend not him!

Needless to say I now feel comfortable seeing Whitney from time to time. JJ-Not so much! Ha-ha

Scream :o

Ever seen the movie "Scream"? Well apparently I have way too many times. We were on the beach enjoying a hot day under the sun. I am not sure who I was with, but it was a group of friends. The beach was crammed full. People were swimming around in the water, laying out in the sun, and eating under a canopy. I was standing near the water enjoying my toes being in the sand. I turned my head around to look at the water when I saw the "scream mask" swimming around. At this point I just thought that my mind was playing tricks on me so I ignored it. I walked over to my friends standing under the canopy. I looked towards to the water one more time. This time there were several "scream masks" swimming around. When I say several I mean like more than ten. Freaked out I told my friends, who ended up thinking I was crazy (which I am starting to think in real life after having these dreams). As I slowly begin to turn my head back towards the water everyone began screaming and running out of the water. The only things left in the water were dead bodies and the "scream masks" swimming in the water. They began walking towards me when I awoke.

Yeah, I am nuts!
